Outrage porn (additionally called outrage discourse,[1] outrage media and outrage journalism)[2] is any kind of media or narrative that is designed to use outrage to impress strong emotional reactions for the purpose of increasing audiences, whether or not traditional television, radio, or print media, or in social media with elevated internet traffic and online consideration.
